Design and build of a new 8,000 sqft distribution warehouse with ancillary trade counter, office space, staff facilities and associated car park and service yard for Howdens joinery.
Howdens signed up to be one of the first tenants at the new 12 acre industrial and retail park in Pocklington.
The 8,000 sqft building was constructed on a cut and fill site using strip pad foundations, a power floated slab and a traditional steel frame.
Both the slab and steel were designed to accommodate a mezzanine floor that could be installed at a later date.
Traditional cladding in the end users branded corporate colours was applied to the building.
Externally the large concrete storage yard and Tarmacadam parking area were laid over large attenuation crates and soakaways.
